EAsy Skin care
It seems to happen form time to time and i can never fathom out but but periodically I get a dry patch of dry skin somewhere on my body.
This time its on the inside of my left wrist and I’m not sure if it’s stressed related or something to do with the coldness outside and then going into a hot stuffy office but nothing seems to get rid of it. Or it makes it worse as I’, allergic to most things.
So hand over this product Ecz-Easy Balm by Inlight, an organic plant product for eczema and inflamed, itchy skin. Seems to be doing the trick for one mum who buying a tuibe a month to use on all her children who suffer from eczema.
Does Healthy Us = Healthy planet?
Organic products have gone crazy – from food to skin products to even clothing. I’m guessing it’s because we all want tobe a bit healthier and I was underther impression is was better for the environment too – but is it?
The idea behind organic farming was that if farmers avoided pesticides and chemicals during the growth process it was a healthier option for us as a consumer and for the earth.
But as with everything it’s gone a little out of control and instead of local farms supplying totheir local community we now have huge corporate-owned farms specializing in one product and marketing it nationally and internationally.
Something else which happens with these larger organic farms is if the crops are grown again and again on the same soil – the goodness and organicness depletes and they cops are not as healthy as they should be
Stick to your local farmers is my advise so at least you contributing your earned money to your own community.
Blast away your cold organically
It’s that time of year…again! We need to wrap up warm with scarves and bobble hats. Inside the home we’ve all got the heating cranked up high and fires burning. Going from one temperature extreme to the other really doesn’t do us any good and often results in nasty colds being passed around really quickly.
You don’t want to pump your body full of medical pills and potions you need some nice organic products which are good to your body but also let you breathe more easily.
Organic aromatherapy products from Lovelula seem to be the way forward. They include a cold therapy Eucalyptus balm or a cold therapy eucalyptus roll on.
To boost your immune system along – especially during the party season try pukka berry C capsules which are made from made from a powerful blend of organic fruit extracts, including acerola, lemon and rosehips.
Dress your baby in Funkoos!
It was the name more than anything which attracted me to this brand new clothing range.
But probably more for the eco-friendly kand of parent rather than the ‘Designer’ kind of parent. These playful baby cloths and accessories is made from 100% organic cotton and is available online and at an afforable price too which is kind of unheard of these days – good quality at a good price!
Just by touching the fabric and feeling how soft it is you’ll realise how gentle it will ly against your babies skin and this will make any parent – designer or not – realise that this is a must buy!
Do you have an Organic life?
It seems to be the new lifestyle choice these days. Everyone runs such a hectic schedule so by eating organic food, wearing clothes that are organically made and even being aware of the products we use on our faces and bodies it provides us with a well being of satisfaction.
A new unisex range launched by Absolutions includes organic ingredients royal jelly and vitamin E. You wouldn’t think it by the super sleek design but even the packaging is organic.
To reduce the amount of clutter you carry around in your bag try this by RMS Beauty 100 % organic makeup range by Rose Marie Swift. You can use on your cheeks, on your lips or as a highlighter to brighten your eyes.
National Chocolate Week
summer diets have gone by the wayside but the party season is looming when we’re going to want to wear special little sparkly dresses
So instead of stuffing chocolate in your face, why not spread some Éminence Organic Skincare Chocolate Mousse Hydration Masque on your face?! Apparently, chocolate works wonders for the skin and it’s better than eating and adding another lump or bump to get rid of in the gym!
The mousse mask, which smells like real chocolate, is designed to tackle dry skin and fight the signs of ageing. The cocoa is packed with anti-oxidants to smooth your skin, macadamia nut oil moisturizes your skin, and almond oil reduces inflammation.
In 10 minutes, you’ll have got rid of your chocolate craving and have skin as smooth and as delicious looking as a piece of chocolate!
Supermodel launches New 100% Organic Skincare Products
I always feel quite proud of my body – I don’t think it’s bad for a 35 year who doesn’t always have the time to exercise – drinks a fair amount of wine and has a 7 year old.
Anyway, the gorgeous Supermodel Miranda Kerr has used her naked body to promote the newly 100% organic skincare products she has launched recently. She’s gorgeous and probably not had any kids yet but has a body to die for – watch out for the advert I don’t like to put it in here! God obviously didn’t have enough to go round when it came to dishing my bits out!
Kora – the name of this new line will only be available exclusively in Australian department stores. As Kerr is a Buddhist she has named the products Kora which is the name of a type of meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist!
Bellaboo Natural Skin Care Range
Most girls and ladies know, or should be aware of how looking after your skin is crucial. But this normally comes with age as suddenly at the age 35-40 the thought of getting older start looming up and we start to panic about doing all we can to stop those wrinkles appearing on our faces.
A good skin routine is essential though as soon as you start wearing makeup. Girls these days have wear a lot – more than they need in my opinion, but that’s for a rant elsewhere! Girls still want something that looks trendy, that’s not full of chemicals and certainly doesn’t smell like something your Grandma would use! It’s totally pure and natural as it relies on botanicals rather than chemicals to get results. It’s just about to launch in the US and is becoming the first choice of skin care for young girls and their (young!) Mums.
Natural baby stuff too!
I’m guessing that if you look after yourself and use natural products, eat naturally and probably wear natural clothing too, you’ll also want to do the same for your baby. So how about this gorgeous little outfit?
If only everything in their little wardrobe could be so nice. But the amount of times you normally change a baby it would cost far too much to us normal peeps. Perhaps it should be saved more for those that don’t have money worries as it’s quite pricey at about US$30. It would probably be more of a good pressie for a special occasion, but the manufacturers, Barley and Birch has got it down to a tee and even use organic inks.
